I’ve decided to look to Charlotte Russe to give you some of my fall favourites. This fall, I’m inspired by pops of colour here & there to keep it light. I am slightly dreading the winter season after all… I can’t believe it’s already October. I tend to gravitate towards red when picking outfits because it’s a bold, sassy and fun colour. I love feeling confident when I’m walking down the streets of New York City!
I loved how the beret & fanny pack matched perfectly & knew I had to go for it. Paired with the thigh high socks, it was the perfect amount of prep I loved, I mean… remember my borderline unhealthy obsession with Gossip Girl? Heh.
I wanted to go for a slightly edgier look to contrast my first preppy look and immediately fell in love with this outfit pairing. The blazer is the perfect thickness as well, and it kept me warm on a very windy NYC day. My favourite piece has to be the newsboy hat. I’ve been wearing it every time I have a bad hair day! It gives off the impression that I have my life together…kind of 😉
I am a huge fan of white sneakers. I’ve never had knit sneakers before, so I thought why not give it a try? I love it. The stretchiness of the sneaker itself lets me slip my feet into it so easily (lazy human here). I love the versatility and how you can pair it with anything. The only thing with white sneakers is that, they get dirty so terribly quickly in NYC so it requires maintenance to keep it white.

Going back to how I love pops of colours, red has been my go-to fall colour. Even though it’s brighter, I think it works for fall. Or hey, maybe I’m just in total denial summer’s over and trying to relish the colours before all my blacks come out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
